GUID is an internal coding system used by Microsoft from what I have read

I don't see Amazon being able to read that

nothing special. just i know that it is a way to identify a pc and i was worried that maybe VMs could be linked that way if one were to do clones instead of fresh installs, etc.

Avoid doing clones nonetheless -- install from fresh.
