When upgrading to PROFESSIONAL - payment question

I've been unable to find out when and what method of payment does amz debit the 39$ monthly subscription fee.

From what I heard, the payment is deducted from your sales balance?

Can someone confirm this, please? And, Thankyou.

Seller dues are primarily taken from your account balance, if you don't have the balance it will take it from the card on file. If you don't have the funds in your account, or your CC on file, then your account will get somewhat locked until you can add a CC that can cover the negative balance.
