Just set up an amazon account, turned it into a seller account, added the VCC, bank all that jazz and it was deleted within the hour
Kind of annoyed but back to the drawing board.
Anyone else have this going on?
I know the holiday rush is coming so I figured that after 2 years of being out of it Id give it a go.
Such a waste

Such a waste | Just make another account as you would do with Ebay, tip: if you don't want to use too many banks, you can add a VBA then once the account is running smoothly remove it and add a real bank

on amazon I never add bank account until i get email from amazon about disbursement to add it just n case account gets deleted.
As you said yourself, making accounts during holiday seasons is such a pain. Amazon already limits regulars sellers so they are really not looking for new sellers this time or year.

How do you know it was deleted within an hour? Did they send an email to you, or did you try to sign in and your password just not working?

Elmo: I used a VPS for the account. I have a new untouch laptop that Im going to bring into the mix, but wanted to get a feel for amazon before wasting it.
Yankee: I used a marketplace VCC
Sax4: Wouldnt that push the disbursement date back?
Gamefreak: Good point and ill keep that in mind
glacier922: I kept trying to log in on the seller side/changing passwords. Then got an email stating that I wouldn't be allowed to sell.

VPS was most likely your issue. Many of them are blacklisted and will result in instant account closure
Have you checked out 24vc?

Have you checked out 24vc? | Not hardly any talk(or maybe non) of VPS being black listed. Most people hardly know what they are or how to configure them plus they are incredibly slow.
Any links to the sources of the idea of blacklisted VPS?

I never add a bank account until 3 days before disbursement, it works for me. In case it ever suspends and have to wait 90 days, 1 less bank account until the 90 day period.

VPS is where you went wrong you should use a Dedicated Proxy ip. I am currently running 4 amazon accounts with no issues all on the same computer.
Also another strategy i use is after I sign up, I wait about a week before I sign up for seller account and I always choose to be a pro seller, its $39.95 a month and the first month is free so its good to choose pro seller first then you can always downgrade to individual seller after the free month is up and you wont be charge that fee.

If the information used on the account was unique, address/phone/cc then the only way they get instantly closed on a VPS is if the VPS IP is blacklisted, there is no other reason the account would be instantly deleted.
I know 4 IP ranges that are entirely blacklisted and all 4 are cheap VPS providers

I have been using VPN and VPS for years, never had a problem. I use VPN at the moment, and I have chosen the most popular service, with what should be the dirtiest IP addresses on Earth.. HMA!.. and it works well!

Lots of reasons to get an account deleted instantly with IP being the least likely IMO.

Keep trying. Most people crash and burn a lot before figuring it out.
There are people in here that are helpful. Ask them, and they can work through your process and find the holes.
You just have to be patient, and run over everything that you are doing. Only way to find the error.
It is worth it.
