Amazon - 28 Day Hold
So I've just received this email from Amazon. Which is very strange as my feedback is 100% across all markets, everything shipped immediately with tracking and all customer messages replied to straight away. The account is still open and I am still receiving orders however, the monies were supposed to start rolling in from tomorrow (the account is only 2 weeks old) after the 14 day hold and I was hoping for it so that I can expand, get some new stock etc. It looks like I will have to wait and stop selling until the funds come in so I can buy more stock, which is a massive shame given that it is Christmas!
Has anyone else experienced this? I am unable to click an appeal button as there isn't one on the performance notifications.
Am I right in thinking that basically there is now a 28 day hold on the funds instead of the 14?
Hello,
We are reviewing your Amazon.co.uk seller account. A reserve equal to your gross sales amount for the preceding 28 days will apply while your account is under review. Based on your order volume, the amount of the reserve may change daily.
When your account balance exceeds this reserve amount, you will be able to transfer funds based on your settlement schedule. You can view details on the Payments page in the Reports section of Seller Central ( https://sellercentral-europe.amazon....t-summary.html).
Please continue to ship orders and only list items that you can send by the expected ship date.
You can help by sending us more information about your business. Click the Appeal button next to this message on the Performance Notifications page in Seller Central ( https://sellercentral-europe.amazon....fications.html) and provide the requested information.
To learn more about account reviews, search for "Velocity Limits and Account Reviews" in Seller Central Help.
We will send you an email when we have completed our review.
