Amazon Account Failed Verification 18 Months After Passing It
 

Hey Guys,

Had a strange thing happen to one of my Amazon UK Accounts. About a month ago, I got the thanks for submitting docs message in Seller Central. I hadn't submitted Docs. The account was verified about 18 months ago. Then today I got an email saying my account had failed verification.

All my other accounts are OK.

Anyone had this? No info had changed on my account.

Same thing happened to me as well, 2.5 years old suddenly shutdown and said failed varification.

Check the performance and metrics of the account. If they're in excellent shape with little to no buyer complaints, this should not be happening.

They routinely check accounts periodically even after verification to make sure they're in good shape.

Everything was fine. Luckily made good sales out of it. Always look at my accounts as being disposable.

they should sent you message, what was the reason? did you contacted them what they said?

I sent 10 messages over the last month and they never replied. It's the standard failed verification email.

happened to me just last monday, i was told it was because i didnt provide a passport, even though i wast given a option to submit one, got quite a bit of money in there and some stock, going to have to fight this.

spoke with a manager today and they said that i shoudl expect a phoen call in the next 24 hours, not quite sure if i should believe it to be honest. It baffles me how amazon can just shut down a account like that.

I reckon they got shut down because they have gone back over the documents that were sent in.

If you sent in a UTR are you sure that the check digit is correct at the front of the 10 digit number? If it isn't they would be able to check that then realise all docs aren't what they should be.

i had the exactly the same problem.

amazon uk closed our account which it passed the verification 6 months ago. then they recently asked verification docs which we provided. then they closed the account and we cannot even login now.

btw, its a real account...

we sent emails to verification team and sent email to Jeff but no reply.

Is there any number that we can call?
