Invoice requirements for specific ASIN application
To get approval for a specific ASIN, not a gated category or gated manufacturer, and they're asking for an invoice "from a manufacturer or distributor":
(1) What do they define as a "distributor"? Will an invoice from one of the ~100 authorized resellers on the manufacturer's website count? Or do they mean distributor in the real sense, as in the 2-3 companies that all the authorized resellers buy from, since the manufacturer doesn't sell direct to anyone other than those 2-3.
(2) If you have a real account you really don't want to get locked, is there a risk to sending in legit docs, from an authorized reseller, but not one of the 2-3 distributors? Not sure if they deny a legit invoice due to who its from, if you're risking getting the whole account under a review, or if you were to later supply an invoice from one of the true distributors if you would have blown your chance at that ASIN.
(3) If they say the invoice must "Show the combined purchase of at least 10 units", I assume that means of the specific ASIN you're apply for? Not 3 of that ASIN, and the other 7 of other ASINs from the same manufacturer of ASINs that don't require specific approval?
(4) Once you're approved, do they routinely ask for more invoices 180 days - year later? Or once you're approved, are you assumed to be OK as long as you aren't having buyer complaints?
