Default Going on holiday is proving to be a nightmare with an amazon stealth

Ebay allows you to set out of office replies and by you not replying to those messages doesnt affect any of the key performance drivers.

Amazon sadly is not like this. The way it seems to be is that it is crucial to do some form of login and response by through the amazon seller message section. Am I right that replying via email doesnt 'tick' it as responded to?

How to people get around this issue if they go away? This is my first year running Amazon Stealth so havent had this issue before of being abroad for a week.

Any help and advice really welcomed

I'm not sure where you're going on vacation, but how do you connect? What if you use a VPN to connect to Amazon Stealth while you are away on vacation? I'm not telling you to go all out and sell, but just reply to messages.

Responding via email is the same as responding through the amazon site as far as notating the account you have responded.

Is that what you mean?

Responding to the amazon message via email should mark it as responded to, and reflect in your metrics.

My only advice here would be, respond to the email from within GMAIL / Yahoo etc.

If your using Thunderbird or any other mail client to capture emails, replying to them reveals your public IP to Amazon (and can potentially link accounts, if your replying to messages from multiple seller accounts).

You could try not replying and just make no response needed when your back

or use Thunderbird and hide the flash cookies etc

or try using teamviewer or another programme..

Thanks for the replies.

I will have my iphone with me but did not think by replying via the iphone email client marked it in amazon seller central as replied to? Last time I replied it still showed as outstanding, hence my concerns.

So I should reply through gmail itself not through the iphone email system?

If this is not the case then I dont have a concern, but really didnt think it marked as replied to.

I haven't used an email client in a while but last time I used thunderbird, it still marked the messages as replied to on amazon.

I know gmail marks them as /responded to, as that is how I normally reply to emails

best bet is remotely logging into the amazon account and hitting no reply needed to all.

reply to the ones that need replying to.

or have a secondary person manage the account while your gone
