Ready to Setup Stealth

Okay so, after reading the Ebook and lots of threads here, I have:

1-New PC
2-24VC Dedicated and Fresh IP
3-Another Business to use-ID of director, Company reg docs, Utility Bill, business Bank statement and card details which match the address of both the business and director which is of course not the same address I used once before.
4-New Gmail
5-New Phone Number

I will setup the amazon account in my friends name who is the director of a completely different company to my Sole Trader business I was suspended with using the new IP address and PC and a new phone and email I created.

This is bulletproof right?

I am experienced in FBA, how long do you reckon I should wait before going full bore FBA again?

I want this account to last as I don't think I can do it again, but I want to start replacing the income I lost ASAP!

Firstly, why you using someone elses ID and company documents? Go as a sole trader with stealth information and make up a 'trading as' name. Then speak to someone to provide you the necessary paperwork to submit to Amazon when they request it.

IP is fine - price is high though @ 24vc and there are 'newer' Dedicated IP companies that offer the same service and do guarantee fresh IPs.

Gmail & SIM card is fine.

What you going to do about a VCC / Credit card for Amazon - they do not accept a lot of prepaid cards from shops etc. If you do try and add one the account will have its selling privileges removed.

Thanks for the reply.

I was unsure how to get a new UTR as a Sole Trader.

I already had an Amazon account with my current Sole Trader credentials, and I am unsure how to get new details.

At first I was going to form an LTD company (I actually did), and use that Tax ID with a trading address at a relatives. but I read a thread here where Amazon may ask for the Directors ID (Mine).

Regarding the Debit Card, I will use the one for my friends Company, which is the same bank account I will use for the Disbursements.

He will then simply move the money to my bank account every 2 weeks.

My friend offered and I said Yes, this appears to be the cleanest route to me.

I already got the 24VC IP setup and ready to go.

While that can all work you do need to work out the tax implications that your friend will be faced with

Hi James,

He spoke to his accountant and he mentioned something about VAT.

My first business never got to VAT status before getting suspended, so I am not great with VAT.

His company is VAT registered and I have the VAT number, I imagine I put this into Amazon and they don't charge VAT on the seller fees, is this right?

I will be doing my stock purchasing with my own bank account though. My only concern here is if Amazon request product Invoices.

As far as other Tax implications go, since the money would enter his account and then leave it, it would leave a Neutral balance on the balance sheet as if it never happened.

If its entering his account and then al being paid out to you he may well need to have you on the pay roll, in which case you would need to pay NI as well as other taxes on the money you get

These are all things you need to have a deep discussion with an accountant about

Thanks James, I was wondering about that.

I have seen posts here about using any bank account you have not used before for the disbursements. Is this safe to do?

I have 3 other bank accounts (ISA and Online Saver with same bank as before and another with a different bank) all in my name and address, only one was linked to Amazon before.

If I do this will they link me? This will resolve the Tax issue. I could continue to do Sole Trader accounts as I was before.

it doesn't totally resolve it if all the trading is done in your friends name

You can withdraw to your own bank account though without an issue

You really do need to talk to an account in depth

What happens if the account gets suspended, and in the future your friend wants to sell on Amazon?!

What happens if you fall out with your friend, or they decide to keep the funds? Very dangerous this is.

I would have everything fresh personally.

He is a very close family friend so I dont think he'll screw me.

He runs a real business and has no interest in selling online, he is nearing retirement age.

I know I should start fresh, but really lost on how to pass the ID checks.

My original Plan was to setup an LTD at my Mums address with Me as the director, and get a Business bank account at that address in the company name. But I am unsure how I would pass an ID check on the director from Amazon?

The eBook is great but it doesn't talk much about UK company formations and options.

I wouldn't want to work on the assumption he/she wouldn't screw you, it's cut throat business nowadays.

Start with proper stealth and do it all yourself, very easy to do.

I know what you mean, but he won't, he was practically my Dad for a lot of my Life.

I really want to do a new one all by myself, but like I said - I'm stumped on the ID checks that may happen for the Director.

Who has done this before after being a Sole Trader the previous time?
