Default Amazon FBA Reimbursment Claims

WHats to much in claims a payment cycle? We sell a lot of small items, they lose alot. I always deathly afraid when i file claims. What triggers the to many insufficently researched claims suspension? It seems its a bot. They lose way to much. I just don't know the right balance. Cause if you do it all your screwed especially with the fba reports all the third party people try and sell. ANy thoughts?

They dont loose them, its the way you send to them, if they find out any wrong claim then kiss your account

If Amazon is "losing" items in the warehouse you have no issues.

If you're sending items that aren't being received, they're going to assume you're lying about how many you actually shipped. That can become an issue.

Look up Amazon Refunding, a lot of fraudsters abuse Amazon and have done for years now. Amazon dont really care, its always 'your' fault regardless of if they fulfil it or not which is why I would NEVER use Amazon to sell, again.

This is just plain inaccurate.

I've had PLENTY of FBA refunds with NO ISSUES.

They would lose stuff, things would get damaged in the warehouse, customers would return items opened/used, all the time. I got refunded for ALL of it without any issues.

I'm pretty sure I remember Amazon posting a news article about not caring if you make a claim about sending more products then they received. What they count is what they sell/check in, no exceptions.

The reality is that, just like returns, its a numbers game.

The more you SEND to FBA, the more you SELL on FBA, the more claims you're "allowed" to make.

If you spend 10,000 dollars a year buying from Amazon, buying 300 items, and you return 15, will you be suspended? Probably not.

Spend 1000 dollars a year, buy 30 items, and return 10, will you be suspended? Quite possibly.

It all depends on the margins and the percentages of what they're losing vs what they've already made, as well as the likelihood (in their view) that this is an honest mistake on their part vs you trying to commit fraud.

Obviously you did not bother to look up what I was talking about. Given the fact Amazon give you the boot for returning too many items, the same can be said for claims, guaranteed.

Again, it depends on the TYPE and AMOUNT of claims, relative to the total number of products sent and SOLD via FBA.

There is no "magic number". It's relative to your individual account.

They lose are shipments frequently . 20-30 on average . I could not file claims and do it in chunks. Problem is it depresses margin and file claims non frequently . What would you recommend . Ups could be stealing to ?

If those lost shipments are FBA items and Amazon shipped them. You don't need to do anything, don't need to file for any claim. They will automatic reimbursement for you in 45 days

We ship in 180 items . Fba reconciliation says the lost 30 . I thought they don't automatically give you a refund for 30: that's the problem we have been having 30 get lost or more it's always 20-30 percent units are stocked so we know what we are sending .

So it lost on the way you send them to Amazon? Not Amazon to customer?

Let me make sure I understand this:

You pack, label and ship 180 items.

When the box enters the FBA facility, the Amazon employees who unpack it only count 150?

Is that correct?

OR are the items "Received in full" and then later on you get notice that they were "lost in warehouse"?

If it's the former, you have to file a claim, and continuously doing so will get your account suspended. In this case, I'd recommend sending less inventory per box. Maybe the Amazon employees are stealing your FBA stuff?

If it's the latter, you'll get paid automatically---no need to file a claim, and no risk of suspension.

The first they will assume is "your fault" the latter they will take responsibility for.

When you send your FBA shipments do you ship everything to ONE warehouse and then they split it up to other warehouses? Or do you ship to two or three or four warehouses when you are making your shipment?

What is the general size of the product? Can it be hidden in your pocket or concealed on your person easily?

Is there a way you can switch the destination FBA facility? Try changing your ship from location.

Believe it, it is one particular item. Thats where the issue , nothing else. Seems likes its 20-30 aren't getting scanned in at the warehouse after looking at it. Usually only did like 3-4 reimbursement claims a pay cycle. Doubled it got the suspension 10 days later. I did just get a email about a error with small reimbursment was incorrect. I don't think that triggered it. Its a pain in the asses.
