Linking across marketplaces

Overview of accounts:

• 1st seller account, Type: US Marketplace: SUSPENDED

• 2nd seller account, Type: US & CANADA marketplace: US marketplace SUSPENDED, Canadian marketplace ACTIVE

Question 1:

I have a US and Canadian address. Both seller accounts / marketplaces were signed in at both US and Canadian address in the past with the respective IP address at these addresses.

The 1st seller account has not been used or signed in to for 5 months. Both seller accounts were recently suspended within the past 2 weeks. Only the 2nd seller account and Canadian IP has been used since suspension.

Will using the 2nd seller account at either address trigger a review or suspension of any sort for the Canadian Marketplace? For example, if I log in the 2nd seller account with my American IP will this trigger any sort of flag or potential suspension?

I have read threads in the past that marketplaces are segregated from each other and suspensions don't cross marketplaces. Other threads mention information is shared between them. Regardless, i'd like to get some insight.

Question 2:

Will a suspension for multiple seller accounts only affect the respective marketplaces on each account? For example, in my case I have 2 US marketplaces and 1 Canadian. Would a suspension span the entire account or just the marketplaces?

I question this because on our original account we received one suspension but on our stealth account we received a suspension across all marketplaces.

If you had the same ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info on both accounts and both accounts were suspended for unverifiable info then yeah, that's a different issue. Those are two policy violations that took place on both accounts.

But if you're suspended on Amazon US for late shipments (or whatever), you won't be suspended on Amazon UK.

The accounts were not linked. The accounts were banned for the same reason Only difference, age of the account.

I'll explain once more..

The reason I don't believe your theory to be true.

1. I had two account, 1 non stealth, 1 stealth.
2. Both account were suspended for the same reason (IP Violation)
3. If the markets are indeed not linked, then they would only only be suspended on US marketplace.
4. However the stealth received a banned across all marketplaces, and the 1 non stealth only received the ban in the US Marketplace.
5. I believe it's luck of the draw, if they submit the ban for one marketplace and/or all marketplaces.

Or perhaps the violation triggered a manual review and the saw your docs were bogus and used the violation as an excuse.

Amazon isn't eBay. They don't do "luck of the draw" when it comes to linking accounts. What kills one account kills all accounts. If they want to kill your stealth, they kill it. They don't seem to judge you on a different marketplace at all. What you do in the US doesn't affect the UK. If someone else has different experiences feel free to chime in.
