For charge card, try adding your own personal, with the stealth account info as name/billing.

I tried adding my real card with real name and actual address after I moved to a new state. The ONLY thing linking me to an old banned account was my name. Not sure why because there are like 1 million jose gonzelezes. Why would just my name trgger a link.

One reason you NEVER want to use real credit cards is because it is probably attached to a real account and if they want to get fees or whatever from you, they will pull it from that card. You may forget to cancel the card or whatever and youre out that money. Just dont do it. SO SO SO MANY better ways to use pre paid cards. Paypal: vanilla gift card. Amazon, pre paid credit card. Simple

Its not just your name that linked it, most likely the other activity on your account was similar to another account of yours.

Enough similarities = linked

Going a step further - What if the first card failed the AVS, then you add a DIFFERENT card with a DIFFERENT address.

Is this likely to put the account at risk?

Keep trying different cards and you will get blocked. Amazon isnt a slot machine. You cant just keep trying til you get it right. You have maybe 2 or 3 chances with credit cards. THATS IT.
Tired of seeing people with crappy advice when they dont even know. Stop giving people advice that you guessed at.
