Adding Credit Card

Can we add real credit card to the stealth account ? Do we have to call in to bank, and add a address ?

Re: Adding Credit Card

Yes, you can use a real card. They don't verify name/ address. Seems like possibly the zip on the card, but not sure

Thank you, I was wanting to use for advertising. Should I call our bank and add the address as well ?

I suggest this partly because our stealth IP is in a different state.

Re: Adding Credit Card

Try adding your card with mismatching name/address first

If it comes back invalid then try adding the address with your bank imo

Please clarify,

Add the mismatching name and mismatching address (including zip), first ?

Then if this doesn't work, then proceed with the latter ( add address to bank acct)

Re: Adding Credit Card

You CANNOT add just any credit card to your account because it will not pass he AVS (address verification system) that paypal employs.
And adding the proper address to the paypal account for that specific credit card could get you linked if that address is associated with a previously banned account.
Why not just use a VCC?

This is Amazon. Not Paypal:noidea:

Amazon doesn't need to match the address

95% of the time you can add a card to the Amazon account without an issue

Firstly, this is Amazon. Either way, why wouldn't a cc work? None of my cards that I use for Paypal have addresses matching the account. They don't verify that. You ask why not just use vcc. But, why use vcc if you have a cc to use?

Re: Adding Credit Card

From my meager experience with amazon they too employ AVS - it is a basic feature these days used by pretty much all processors.
Again - why risk it instead of using an AVS VCC?

What is there to risk by trying to add a cc ? and you're not using your actual address, zip, name ?

Scottie, can you charge these cards on Amazon as well ?

You can yes.

Some cards don't work but more often than not it goes through without issue

There is no risk to trying to add a cc. I'm not sure why you want people to go to the trouble of getting vcc. It is not needed. Paypal nor Amazon confirm addresses for a cc

Youre just plain wrong on that. I know for a fact paypal at the very least does so.
And if you try to add too many CCs and fail you place the account at risk - that I also know for a fact.
But dont take my word for it. Go for it and knock yourself (and your account) out. Place a credit card with them - one they can charge at will. That's smart stealth.

Man, I have 10 eBay/ PP accounts that have all been active for at least 2 years. Never an issue. None of my addresses or names match up. I wouldn't know about adding too many failed cc. I've never had a single one fail, so....

slokor 07-28-2017 01:04 PM

Re: Adding Credit Card

So you have 10 personal credit cards - each attached to a different account?
Right...
Whatever man. Im telling you what I know from MY experience. I KNOW they use AVS. That's a FACT.

Can I call in to my bank and add my stealth address to my bank account so that my cc will pass verification ?

FYI, ScottieBoi suggestion didn't work. Didn't want to open a VCC

If in case they verify the zip (not address, or name) should we use a address close to our CC, will this put the account at risk ? Having a Zipcode so far away from our original address ?

With AVS - I think they verify the door number as well as the zip.

We should find a address that has a similar door number and zipcode as our actual address ?

Also is it a problem that this zipcode is different than the address listed on the account ?
