How did I get this message?

I know this is normally because of AVS issues with a card, but there is no credit card linked to the account. I paid for the order with Amazon Gift Card, is it because of the billing address? Is it because the buyer (I'm drop shipping to eBay) is already banned on Amazon? The GC was received from Kindle Unlimited so would that be the case? Please help because I have GC on it that I do not want to go to waste!

This is common if your first purchase is using a GC. Its because of many scammers that have abused this system which increased security.

How would I prevent this? Because I am dropshipping, so I would not be able to provide the correct documents

Is transferring Gift Card between accounts considered fraudulent?
