I believe Amazons requirement is low....it was $250 last I checked, but that was some time ago, and as I said, generally once it get's to triple digits I add Sig anyways....

I ship too much triple digit stuff to be adding $2.45 to each package. If you can achieve a 41:1 ratio of shipments:claims on a $100 item, you break even. Not that hard to do.
I do get a little nervous, sometimes, when it approaches $500...

Yeah, I'm not worried about the package getting "lost" at all.
I'm more concerned with the people who know policies and will use it to scam you.
Before you say "if they want to scam you they will" keep in mind it's easy to win INR cases if the item value is high enough, especially if it crosses the threshold (which again, I believe is 250 for Amazon)
