Your Amazon.com Account has been closed - Advice Please
Hello everyone
I bought a Amazon e-giftcard from PayPal Digital Gifts a couple of days ago, created a Amazon account and added the giftcard. The giftcard was added to my balance and I placed a order. A day after the order was placed I recieved this email "Your Amazon.com order cannot be shipped"
You are unable to access your account or place orders with us until you confirm details related to your payment method.
Please send the receipt for the purchase of the Amazon Gift Card used to place the order - 112-4818248-7633025 to our secured fax line. Make sure this document shows your name, phone number, and email address.
I replied to the email stating that I had purchased the giftcard myself online via PayPal Digital Gifts (using my own Paypal account). I also said that I would forward the email receipt and anything else that was required. Within 12 hours I received another email "Your Amazon.com account has been closed" We have closed your account and canceled all outstanding orders.
We took these actions because you have submitted invalid gift cards as payment for Amazon.com orders.
If this gift card was invalid I do not understand why I was able to add it to my balance in the first place. If its true the code is invalid then that means PayPal Digital Gifts are selling "invalid" codes in which case I will email them and ask for a refund.
Can anyone advise me on what to do? Amazon email support just keeping sending the same automated email to me no matter what I say...
