| walkingupwards | 01-09-2018 05:49 PM | Will Amazon allow me to sell on their platform? 3 years ago I had a buyer account with Amazon, I used to buy a lot using that account and never ever had a problem with payments, the last order I placed was for a pair of jeans (value of order was 100 €). I received the order and Amazon's attempt to book the 100€ from my bank account failed due to insufficient funds. I never paid that 100€ back and they sent it to a collection agency. I think the case is closed because I have not heard from anybody since like 3 years!
I know this was dumb and reckless as f, but I was hooked up on weed all the time in that period of my life and I really didn't give a s**t about anything :boink: (Not trying to make up excuses or anything, just telling what was going in my head at the time).
Do you think my chance of signing up with Amazon as a seller is gone with the wind? I am thinking about creating an Amazon account in the near future and I remembered this outstanding (unpaid) order I had with them in the past.
I have moved and changed my address 4 times since then though.
Anyone with similar experience?
EDIT:
I checked my e-mail for that Amazon account and they had sent me a message stating that the account is limited and as soon as the 100€ is paid they will reinstate buying privileges.
Do you think it's a good idea to get in touch with them soon, pay the outstanding amount and get that account reinstated before I attempt signing up as a seller?
Amazon had only known me as a buyer and never as a seller. So I think clearing the air with them with respect to that issue is a good idea to get my record clean, right?
What do you think is the best course of action here? |
