Remote connection from phone to stealth PC

When travelling I would like to have the option to remote in to my local desktop (Which runs 24/7/365) to check my stealth account emails and login to my AMZ account if necessary. I will be doing this using a mobile phone (android)

There are quite a few products on the market for remote connections but I would like to hear if others do this and what their experiences/suggestions are.

Note:

I understand many here use laptops when they travel but this is not always practical carrying a laptop around everywhere I go, a phone is more practical and what I will be using.

For mobile I use Microsoft remote desktop works quite well for laptop I use remote desktop

Sorry guys should have been more clear, this will be using a Android Cell Phone. I do not believe Teamviewer or Microsoft remote desktop are options for Android.

Looks pretty good! Im in the process of buying a new used phone so I hope these applications dont require the phone to be to beefy.

Setup your own VPS or setup teamviewer, those are good options

I think just carrying around a lightweight laptop with virtual machines/dedicated VPN connections is the easiest way

I like Teamviewer... I use it on my Android phone to remote into my mining rigs running on Windows 10.

The app is in the Google Play store. Its so easy to set up my wifes mom could probably do it.

I've had to trouble shoot Windows over my Android through teamviewer to get my miner back online. Talk about a nightmare. Its hard to do on a small screen and I have a Galaxy Edge +

Both are for android search in playsotee you will see these

Just keep in mind that there's a 99% chance Amazon will see the open ports and know your running remote access software on your PC. I have no idea if it will trigger anything.

I'm sure there are a lot of people running VNC viewer or Teamviewer ect. on their phones and computers so it's probably not a big deal.

Not necessarily, it will be Phone -> PC -> VM

So I am connecting to my PC which has a VM inside.

Regardless, I dont think this matters to Amazon

Thats a interesting concept I didnt think of.... The VM would be containerized... That a lot to wrap your mind around...

I have multiple computers with multiple amz and ebay accounts. I travel once a month and use teamviewer yo access these accounts. Jusy make sure these computers are somewhere that can be easily accessed from by a friend incase there is some type of failure with the computer or wifi.

But honestly I hate teamviewer now and I'm looking for other alternatives. Before i used the free version where I can use as many different computers, or phones to access all my computers..

Teamviewer said I'm a commercial user, so I paid them 500 USD. After I 'upgraded' from free, I pretty much got downgraded by losing so many services. I find this pretty frustrating as now I'm willing to pay and I'm getting less services than their free one

How can they know about your port ?

Seems it's impossible to find out if someone is using remote desktop

Install Teamviewer, run it, and go to http://whatleaks.com

Its easy to detect, they know the default ports that remote access software use, then they check to see if anything is listening on those ports.

teamviewer is the best , based on my own experience .

i've used to use it few years ago to control my brother's pc in another country , it's reliable
