Does anyone know if it is necessary to continue using dial-up even after registering (ie: to manage inventory).
I heard there are programs like Filez that use their own IP.

Can someone please elaborate?

I also look forward to other folx chiming in. I don't do that yet - once on dial-up, that's my only access venue. Amazon is very quick to block for whatever reasons so I don't know if there is any 'proxy' access program for Amazon. PM me if anyone doesn't wish to post.

everyone know of aol proxy use and ebay is aware of this so they let users fly. I'm not sure if it works the same on amazon.

Colour me clueless on that - dial-up works for me and will continue to be solid for my use.

Tried aol for a bit had problems with certain sites still picking up my regular ip address.

Proxies really are not the way to go. Spoof your Mac address with SMAC 2.0 and cgange your ip. All this and more is in Aspkins Amazon Ghost.
