will changing my internet provider from aol to bt internet change my ip

i have spent a few hours here searching through these forums but not came up with any answers that i am looking for..

i am currently using aol broadband and my question is if i changed from aol to bt internet would my ip address change?

i am in u,k also

I was told by cablevision yesterday that with broadband your IP address changes weekly, has anyone heard this before.

Yes I have heard it before. Comcast is the same way. Your IP WILL change, but I'm not sure why you would be worried about that?
