Can’t login ????
 

Went to login this morning and says password was wrong ?? Been the same for 3 years so clicked to change it and then tried again and still no joy says incorrect password so called them up the lady didn’t have a clue why account was all fine and no hold on it or anything all in good standing so she said she will send another link to reset password and then she said performance had but a block on it while they research the account anyone else had this happen what’s it mean never had that before

Sounds like you got the account linked to a previous one

This can happen due to IP or recently adding a new card/bank that was previously used accidentally

Could be related to listing/selling previously sold items. You gotta think back to what you might have changed or added a few days before you received the error

Had the same thing on my UK account

Account was fine for 2 years.

They seemed to have deleted / blocked the account for no reason....

If its around the time you tried to verify, it could be due to that

Just gotta think back to what you recently updated on the account within the last 3 days of it being closed

Have you edited any info on the account in the last 1-2 weeks?

no info was edited on the account

and the account was a backup account too so hardly used

very very odd circumstances for it to be closed - maybe closed in error?

You using VPNs? Maybe a dropped connection or something you would be unaware of

Do you have other accounts or just this one? What internet connection do you use? i.e normal ISP connection, VPN, dongle, tethering etc...

It could just be a glitch it's worth attempting to log in on a different browser & IP address then emailing them if that fails

It got closed as soon as they paid a payment to my Santander bank account

is there any chance they can now see the name on an account?

The only other recent change was I added a new returns address of a parcel pickup service - maybe someone elses use that returns address but even so its odd my account was locked

I'm very experienced with regards to stealth so know all the tricks of the trade etc

Was it a residential address or PO box?

There's no way for them to see the name on your bank account if it was successfully sent

Odds are you did something that flagged the account before this disbursement date

It only got closed at the disbursement date because that is how usually Amazon flags accounts, when there is some kind of activity going on like updating cards/billing/disbursement.

Something probably happened between the date of this disbursement and the date of your last disbursement if you did not add or update any account information

litereally nothing changed on the account

The only thing I added in that time was a new returns address from a parcel pickup company which is was a News Agent

The account was fine with no problems previous 2 years and the account was verified

I am one of the most experienced Amazon ghost memebers on this forum and have been on them for years

The fact that they locked the account is very odd

I suspect the 4g dongle ive been using fine without problems for 2 years got linked with the IP address range of another account and they somehow linked the account

It won't be closed by linking IP addresses from a dongle unless they're your own accounts & you've not refreshed the IP between logging into your accounts.

Is the news agent a pick up location? i.e Amazon locker, Pass My Parcel, Collect+ etc...? I'm just throwing ideas out there but if it is and it's been abused by scammers maybe it's been closed because of that?

I use an EE dongle on 2 accounts I have but theyre seperate dongles

The news agent is a pick up location service like pass my parcel so its possible

I dont think its been abused though -its in an obscure location- hopefully the managingdirector email will reply this week

luckily I have many back up accounts but still im shocked that the account got blocked

should buy a vpn from 24vc or ipburger instead of dongle.

If it's two separate dongles then I'd put my house on saying they would never get linked

I was just throwing ideas out really I don't know if that would cause a link or not

Dongles are more than adequate enough for running stealth accounts

Chances are the account was linked to another account or they suspect the account was hijacked. Send an email to customer services and they will get back to you in a few days.
