How to discover my standing with Amazon?
I will try to keep this as clear as possible in chronological order. I am grateful for an assistance you can offer. - My 14 year old personal Amazon account is registered at my_name@gmail.com
- In 2005, I created a seller account using the same my_name@gmail.com. I never sold anything on it and I forgot about it immediately.
- At my day job in mid-2015, we created an Amazon Seller Central account with the account owner boss@DayJob.com. My email my_name@DayJob.com was added as a user.
- At DayJob, we manufacture and sell our own products. I created the listings and manage our Amazon account and have grown it to ~250k Amazon sales annually.
- In mid 2016, I created my own Amazon seller account using the email my_name@SideBiz1.com, with the intention of having a side business separate from my day job. I had forgotten I had a 13 year old seller account attached to my personal email.
- Within 48 hours, I received an email "We've decided you may not sell on Amazon"
- February of 2018, I purchased a small product manufacturing business, SideBiz2, that had an active Amazon account. To not further my heartache, I immediately closed that Amazon account when the previous owner provided the credentials on sale of business.
- I sent two emails to seller-performance asking for permission to utilize Amazon Pay for SideBiz2. They did not respond.
- Present-day, a friend would like to start an Amazon business and asked me to help him. Although the @DayJob account is still active and in good standing, I am afraid I'm some sort of blacklisted and I don't want to be a liability to him.
Is there any actual way to know my standing with Amazon? I'd found the AmazonSellersLawyer who quoted me $2000 to submit an appeal with no guarantee of success. I don't even know what we'd be appealing. Not that Amazon cares, but I have not done anything intentionally questionable. Thanks for your time.
