Hey Guys so was selling on amazon for quite a while and got 1 inauthentic report out of 100 which was really stupid
I sent them Invoices of the product replied to all their stuff and then jumped through all their hoops
Answered their questions
Hello,
Due to the status of your account, funds will not be transferred to you until all open orders have shipped and any amounts paid for A-to-z claims on your orders have been deducted. This usually takes about 90 days but funds may be held longer from the date your account was impacted, which was 04/19/2018. “
Has this happened to anyone and how did you get your money, $492 dollars, it’s not much money but just the fact of them not giving your money?
(* This is also not a stealth account*)
“Hello,
We reviewed the information you provided, and we have decided not to disburse any funds to you. Due to the nature of our business, we do not provide details on our investigation methods.
We may not respond to further emails regarding the status of your account or the permanent hold on your funds.
Regards,
Seller Performance Team”

Amazon is doing this a lot lately. Apparently they updated their TOS to say funds will not be released if you get into trouble for selling counterfeits and you don't successfully appeal.
Might be worth contacting the new "account services" providers here.

Yep, it's a pity that AMZ does these permanent holds from time to time.
In your case - i wouldn't worry too much. Be glad that it wasn't a few thousands or more.
Although, it is possible to get your funds back even in these cases - but with ~$400 it's just not worth it. | |

Sounds like they didn't like the invoice. Figure out what part of the invoice gave it away, and avoid that in the future.

^^Very interesting perspective. I can't believe the state laws angle hasn't come up before. States where Amazon is licensed as a money transmitter(Amazon Link) States where Paypal is licensed as a money transmitter
Apparently they aren't allowed to hold money for longer than 10 days in a lot of states. 5 days in a few, 3 days in a few.

I don't think you can do much before proving that your listing isn't "inauthentic" to Amazon since they have the money and an army of lawyers.

Hello,
I have money holding on my amazon account and I'm told that it's holding indefinitely without releasing it. I researched and noticed that Amazon has been doing this a lot recently, and noticed your message to a forum. I'm located in Seattle, Washington State, and I appreciate it if you can tell me a little bit more about how/where to contact to withdraw my money. Many thanks in advance!
