Amazon is good for being able to ship products in to FBA and let them sell however, Amazons customer service will refund any customer if they have the slightest complaint.
With Amazon, as long as you follow the T&Cs you will be fine.
I personally do not like eBay because you have to also deal with PayPal, however with eBay, the seller has arguably more protection.

Ebay/Paypal offers way more seller protection than Amazon.
Not received item cases are easily resolved with a valid tracking number. Once the case closes in your favor, the buyer's negative feedback will be removed too lol
Negatives are easier to remove as well.
Seller support is way more helpful than Amazon's.
It's harder to get suspended on eBay.
You can have crap metrics on eBay and continue to sell. Some sellers never upload tracking and have been around for years. They'd last 2 weeks on Amazon lol
Ebay is better as a platform but you'll probably make twice more money on Amazon for similar level of efforts.
