I've searched the threads a couple days now for info on tethering phone to PC. I've gleaned that it changes your IP, but are there any other fingerprints I should know about that Amazon can link to? ie., IMEI, serial number, phone number, wifi MAC address, cookies, etc.

The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
And one more question: does it transmit your PC's fingerprint? Do I have to do any scrubbing? Thanks
the PC Transmits your fingerprint via Browser, the Tethering doesn't have anything to do with that. You can't "scrub" a fingerprint....from what I know (could be wrong). You can "modify" your fingerprint, I believe a few members have more knowledge in that area.

Tethering does NOT transmit IMEI, Serial Number, Phone Number, MAC Address, or Cookies.
I found on Amazon Ghost that Amazon CAN read a tethered cell phone's MAC address and can therefore only be used for one Amazon account. Uncool giving wrong information. I'm glad I double checked.

Better to be on the cautious side of things anyhow, especially with amazon
For the most part... any internet connection, amazon can only see the IP, not the details of the device regardless if its tether, ethernet, wifi etc.

The MAC address, cannot be seen by AZ. You can force an IP address change, by changing your MAC address. But, cell phones change IP address frequently, anyway.
Cookies, and "fingerprints", are on the PC side of the equation. Those still need to be scrubbed, and removed.
