Two-Step Verification - Photo ID needed - URGENT
 

Hi guys,

I can't pass the two-step verification. I talked to customer service, since the phone I registered is no longer working. The only way to disable the two-step verification is to provide the government ID to verify identity. The name I registered on Amazon is not the same name on my ID. Any one experience this and know what I should do now?

Gotta provide them with what they want

Creatively think outside the box or move onto another shop

Careful in the future with that two step device

So what happened? You opened a store and used a burner phone that you can't use the number now and can't get into the account? Can you switch to google authenticator?

Sorry, I don't have a solution, just trying to get a better picture of what happened

You need either a matching photo ID or use the authenticator which I hope you have.

I was in the same situation because the AZ support made a mistake in updating my phone.

In the end... I had to send in an ID which did work.

That's what I am here for. Waiting on an official approval, but willing to take on work in the meantime.

Was this for a real account? You mentioned authenticator also, I've been wondering - can they see through this and see the build of the phone or any other identifiable info? Have you set up authenticator for multiple accounts on the same phone? thanks

it seems they can last accounts all didnt pass and i used the same phone with the auth app

sorry...what was that last comment? they can see past the google authenticator? worth getting some throw away devices if so - they could also be used as prepay data plans to make a new account on and then setup user permissions...anyone think this is a bad idea? you'd have to keep the plan up to date though
