I wonder how many accounts amazon is closing daily right now. Has to be in the thousands. I've spoken to so many others on here, in other forums, etc all having the same issues.

What is the big deal, you use your real credit card and real account info and Amazon will leave you alone. Should they not, you just take them to arbitration.

I used my real info, card and billing. I sent bank statement, never used gc. They don't reply.

Can you tell us how long the account was alive for. How many orders you placed. What the average order size was in $. How much did they confiscate?

Please be more specific with your answers, if you would like help from the forum. Those with sufficient knowledge, will try their best to give you a good answer. I am active on this forum with Amazon buyer accounts because I experienced a shutdown and lost $. By sharing your experience, not only will you help understand Amazon buyer account longevity but you will learn from their failures. Please elaborate for me so I can give you my advice. I also have experience with over 30+ Amazon buyer accounts.

For example, was the account closed while an order was in process? Was this account paying monthly for prime? Was it a .EDU email address? What was your largest order size? The more details the more some of us may be able to assist.

Nonetheless, you state the account was in your real information. Just make a new account and take Amazon to arbitration on the old account. Most of us who took a loss did so with "Stealth" accounts which were not in our real information. As such, it would then be difficult to win a case against Amazon in arbitration.

I'm paying for prime monthly, it wasn't edu mail. Do you mean the largest order size in that day when account was close? I don't remember, $80-100 - it is not the bigest order for all time. Nothing unusual. about 20-30 orders per day for 2 years.

I called many times and sent letters with bank statement.
Can I create a new account with the same billing address and name?

Well it seems you had a pretty good lifespan with this account. I would try to make another account in the same details. Should that account get closed, you will need to have your credit card company re-issue you a new card and will need to add a new billing address. It would also be wise to add a new phone number as well. Name does not matter, you will be back to purchasing. I should add I have also heard of many not needing to do this and just opening up a new account with the all the original information and being fine.

Also on this account, what would you say was the average order price? What was your largest order price? How many returns did you have on the account? Were there more returns than normal in recent months?

The average order price was $20-30, but I placed orders for $200-300 without problems before. in the last 2 month it was 2-3 refunds.

I know people who was banned with 10 orders per day (with real credit card), they also had old accounts. It started last 2 weeks

"Just take them to arbitration"

You make it sounds like a trip to McDonalds. It's not that simple. One guy tried exactly that and it took him over 3 years and he had to spend a ton of money just to get a small settlement. He did it only out of principle.

I read the article. Really interesting.

He did say you can take Amazon to small claims court locally (in the US). Which is great. Cost to file in small claims court is about $100. In California you can win a maximum amount of about $10,000.

My guess is depending on the amount, that Amazon may not even bother to appear and then you would win a default judgment.

From filing to getting a judgment (if you win) I would say 90 days. Then once you have a judgment it should be fairly easy to collect. Also, you don't need an attorney and in fact I don't believe they allow attorneys to appear on behalf of either party.
