I had a list of zip codes that would reject my flats taped to my desk, and I'd use parcel postage whenever I got orders from any of those places. I know it ended in 2016 because when sh!t hit the fan it hit hard, and it was memorable, lol. Our mail lady showed up one day and told us her supervisor wouldn't allow her to pick up our shipments unless we put 3 stamps on every one of them (bringing them up to the parcel rate, thus paying for the added tracking). I'm probably a little off on what the parcel rate was but I know it was about twice what I'd pay for flats. ~$300 savings every day back then. |
