Amazon VCC issue
 

Does anyone else have issue with VCC with seller account? We can not access our seller account since this morning, it shows "credit card invalid". We tried several different VCCs and it doesn't seem to accept any VCC which we had no problem before.

Amazon is not accepting VCC anymore?

Yes they have been beefing up their security significantly over the last couple months

Have you tried using your own debit/credit cards?

This is a stealth account so the address would not match with card's address and 8 can't use card's real address. Are the VCCS from the marketplace still working well?

I believe it's not an issue of Amazon, it comes from the VCCs sellers, lot of them don't keep the cards for a fair period of time before removing them from the bank system, this is a real headache, especially that Amazon keeps randomly checking the cards from time to another.

Make sure to sort things out with the VCC seller and to know how much time does this seller keep the card.

Not everyone is able to get a debit or credit card, as most available cards are prepaid, sometimes you'll even get a credit card, but when you check it on binlist, you'd find that it's also set as prepaid, which Amazon will definitely reject.

The only easy-to-have debit cards that work with Amazon at moment are Transferwise cards, but they're not recommended for first time registration.

The weird thing is that the other VCC from the same source worked with another stealth account right away but nothing works with this stealth account. I tried 4 VCCs from different sources and it doesnt accept it. Is it a good idea to call the seller support for this issue? The account is 3 years old.

It doesn't hurt to call in and ask.

Amazon VCC are not cheap and they have to be made well for them to work .

This is happening to me. I never had any issue but today I am having issue of adding cards. I tried 3 different and it not working.

They definitely changed something. It is happening on a second account as well and it is not accepting any card. Can't access to accounts at the moment. These are old accounts which we never had any issue with VCC so far.

if they opened the AVS , the zip in the billing address must match the VCC's zip code

Zipcode matches the VCC's zipcode but it still doesn't accept it. I am using VCC generated from my own credit card account. I even used the same street number in the address with no luck.

Only things that do not match are the phone number and the street name. As far as I know they only check zipcode and the street number but they might have implemented a full AVS.

Any ideas how to pass this?

the avs can get full billing address from bank ? does it because your vcc number range is band by amazon ?

If they checked full billing address i think there will be lot of accounts will be blocked ?

Try a different bank issued card

Sometimes shops will get flagged in some strange glitch way that does not allow any kind of card except for a credit card with matching AVS

Its strange but only happens sometimes

This is not looking good. We updated the credit card on a 2 year old account and it validated the card but deactivated the account right away. It was a new VCC. Now it is asking a utility bill.

Is it bad idea to change the registered address before submitting the utility bill? I don't have a utility bill for the current registered address but I can get a utility bill for a different address.

Better to not change the address prior to submitting docs.

What is the current average wait time for utility bill verification? Automated response after submitting the doc says 12 hours but I doubt it will be that fast.

Amazon have blocked all Prepaid card, the one which use to work, even they have been blocked now

This right here will fix your issue, you'll need to get creative.


EDIT: I noticed Amazon isn't accepting debit cards at all.
