Which utility bill has highest pass rate?
 

Ive never has issues with phone utility bills, they always pass. Recently it did not.

The bill is accurate, scanned, includes all asked information and is very legible.

It appears the issue is that its a phone bill, not a: "piped, natural gas, electricity, piped water, or internet service."

Any suggestions on which type of utility bill has the highest pass rate? Im going to try an internet service utility bill next.

Its a very very big issue going on, dont see any bill pass these days

They are very inconsistent and 90% of the time they will deny information submitted

That is give or take the pass rates we are experiencing with non-verified stores

If they denied your first bill try another company that like you said, fits the criteria requested

Problem is they have some technology inplace which findout its ○○○○ and they simply reject it and make final decision

I dont think they have any technology to know wether the bill is ⊗⊗⊗⊗. Especially If its scanned.The only way for them to know if a bill is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ is by calling the utility support automated systems and punching in the account number.Some utility companys like internet have phone automated options to do things like make payments or trouble shoot without needing to talk to a actual rep.
I think the op case is that he used a phone bill.Stick specifically with the types they ask for so at least you can rule it out if they dont accept it.Also I think another issue is that most of you ignore the request for a business license because a lot of you think (If applicable)means if you dont feel like getting one.I think your success increases when you send in both documents.If your actually from the usa ,business license are pretty simple to get.They are not required by law,but just to appease amazon just go to your local city clerk(hall) and inquire about getting one.You can google it under General Business license. They are just a certificate from your local city gov stating that you are using such and such address to run a business. You can get them for home based businesses, and you can get them even if your just a sole proprietor. Amazon knows your local laws,they wont always buy the excuse that you dont have one or cant get one.In my city one litterally only cost me $33 and I got it the same day.I think texas is litterally the only state that they would accept if you dont have one.Texas doesnt do business licenses at all.

Many people have turned in legit utility bills with no edits and still been turned down.Any software that can pick up fonts wouldn't come out accurate if the bill was scanned, because printing of paper statements doesnt make 100 percent perfect prints to begin with.Then the quality of scanner can also modify that even more as well.

Also if they were relying on software like that ,then why would other types of bills be a issue?If there technology can pick up on edited docs they should be able to accept all types of bills then.

One more thing ,i they have this type of technology ,shouldnt they use it at the goverment ID and bank statement request part too?Thats gotten pretty easy to bypass.

What report are you referring to? Are you simply referring to the cookie cutter respons Amazon makes when they think its phake? IE: "We believe this was modified or altered, blah blah"

A big question no one seems to ask is why doesnt amazon just get all these docs out the way during the Identity verification?Why approve the identity docs ,then 15 minutes later request more docs.Isnt it just double the hassle to do it in two separate stages?
15 minutes after a new account has been registered is usually the time period they test charge the card on file.Which makes me think that the utility bill/business license request is only a triggered reveiw by the billing department if something doesnt match up correct on the avs check or if they see your using a known vcc or giftcard.
People using giftcards,prepaids and known VCC your odds of them approving you are already made slim.They know vcc's and GC are generally used for stealth accounts ,so thats 1 huge red flag.You can use this online tool to check what comes up when you enter different card types https://www.bincodes.com/bin-checker/
Im sure whatever this tool can pick up about your card so does amazon.Also the tool will verify where vcc sellers on this forum get their source from.

Some of these guys have access to amazon recruiters,who show them things that amazon doesnt show regular sellers.Im sure they have some method to try to figure out if docs are real or ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ,but I doubt they put that much emphasis on it where theres a whole software.If you do a good enough job ,edit as little as possible on the docs then no software they have is going to figure it out.
The goal here should be too avoid getting the request,not purposefully trying to trigger it.Triggering the utility bill request just means you messed up in the first place.

Amazons not becoming impossible to work with,they are just forcing you people to change your business models.Alot of you people have terrible business models for amazon,most of yall cant keep a account going more then a week.Most dont even understand how trademark laws work.Your upset amazon is actually forcing you to run your business within standards of the law now.Which requires some leg work.They want you to have certain cards an business documents on file that comfirm your legit.Most of you are still treating accounts like burners.Amazon isnt kicking yall off ,they just want you to become more professional ,stop treating them like ebay.

I trust AMZN more than Ebay,but I trust Bestbuy,Macy.,Office Depot more than AMZN

So Amazon is using AI to verify docs, just make sure you use someone with excellent photoshop skills when creating your docs.

What does the report you talk about show?

AI Amazon only checks what information you entered during registration and which is indicated on utility bills.
If the address is incorrect there or your name or something else - you have a red flag. And you are 100% rejected.

When I got a request for utility bills, I sent everything I could find. Light, gas, telephone, internet.
Then they ask for more documents, I sent them a bank statement.

Most of you are focusing too much on the amazons ability to tell if the utility bills are real or ⊗⊗⊗⊗.Thats only 1 part of it.Create your accounts using info where very minimal edits are needed.
What you need to spend more time focusing on is why amazon ask for these in the first place ,and why they specifically want a utility or business license vs any other document.What can a utility bill prove that a bank statement cant?
