Default Individual Seller account. £30 Fee?

Can anyone confirm if amazon charges £30 from your card when you opening individual seller account (the basic one)? Not Pro account.
Their website says they don't but can someone confirm?
They seem to be still asking for a credit/debit card when registering.

No they dont charge £30, they do need valid card where they charge 16p to check the card

Thanks bro. Real debit card will be fine here right? Do they still ask for UTR from individual account?

No, they don't, they will make a small verification charge, and then charges on the cards on disbursement.

Yes a real card is good to use.

Thanks for the help mate, really appreciate it. How are they asking about what I plan to sell? Do they call to a phone number or send email?
And what if I change legal entity to sole trader and pro account, would I need to go through verification again and send documents again? (of course in this case they will ask utrnumber)

Damn, than I guess it is probably better to change the entity right away because I want to sell new stuff and switch to Pro account. If I tell them I want to sell used stuff and than list new products they will notice it anyway right?

Thank you all guys for reply's.

So the best course of actions than is to register (basic acc so they won't charge card for 30 gbp) as sole proprietor and try to pass the verification providing all docs to amz and than if verified switch to pro acc with with monthly plan (at some point, this shouldn't trigger re verification right?). Am I right here?

You can set it up on an individual seller fee schedule (great choice of confusing terminology Amazon!) and convert to a pro account with £30 subscription when your sales volume warrants it.
Thanks for your help mate.

they charge £ 30, and after 2 days we can't verify your account, finally -suspended. I do not put money in a bank acc until my account is not opened. Maybe there is a problem ??? and I cannot open new account

im messaging about UK ltd Companys,

im trying to set up a new amazon account.
i bought Ghost.

it does not mention anything about company's
i.e are they going to prompt me to add a LTD Company at some point.
or can i go on as a sole trader?

and who is best for info..? i always

im wondering if anyone knows of anyone who specializes in amz info.. as ive heard they are quite hard to pass, also heard 'they don't accept the type of docs made in stealth' whatever the HELL that means'
Cheers.

D.
