WSJ yesterday have another AMZN article-every 1/50 second, there is a new listing from China.
Chinese goosedown items do not have goose feather, but duck feathers.

Yes, hopefully more and more BIG brands will be leaving amazon for good. Maybe they finally change their minds and ease on new small sellers since they will have much less revenues from big brands.
I can't wait to see amazon ass get kicked

you know who is heading Nike,it is the ex Ebay boss-Donahue.
Nike has the resources to go on its own,why give AMZN 10% and build AMZN?
But most of us are not that well endowed.

Back in early 2000,BBY sold on AMZN and then realised it is helping AMZN,besides paying FVF to AMZN,now people will know AMZN is a place to shop for electronics,so it quitted and promoted its own website.
Same goes for ER Hamilton,a well respected discount bookseller, its books are cheap,if they bought the books for 5,they sell it for 10 and that 10% FVF hurts.
Other smaller merchants have their own sites but also sell on AMZN,Secondspin.com sells used dvds, cds, they also sell on AMZN at a markup.
No different than the large precious metal dealers selling on WMT ,Ebay with a markup, you can get them cheaper at their own site, esp if you pay cash .

The amazon platform is not suited well for large brands with large inventories when mixed in with 3rd party venders. They are not the first and will not be the last to leave az. More will join suite with this trend.

Fashion has the highest returns rate in ecommerce, even for Amazon.

I assume when something doesn't fit Amazon bills the brand. In this instance Nike might of had enough.

Yes, isnt that the point if big businesses. Do everything yourself so you have complete control? It is loonely for a brand like Nike use Amazon. They dont need to.
