Hello everyone . I received this letter from amazon . I have a lawyer writing a demand letter . I was told By my lawyer going to arbitration will cost over 10k dollars . Has any one had any success with a demand letter ? Please advise .

So did you engage in deceptive, fradulent and illegal activity ? i.e. sell dodgy goods

Or did they say that because the account was a stealth account ?

It was my personal account . I sold a board game which has a wood version and a plastic version . I sent the wrong ones out so when people reveiveed the plastic they opened cases . The account lasted 2 weeks out of 400 sales I had 30 returns so they assumed it was counterfeit .

And that's all it takes. A very expensive mistake.

If you think about it, its still under 10% returns which I think is still reasonable, any higher and I'm also inclined to believe something's wrong (personally).

Who did you get the boards from? 3rd party, distributor, or manufacturer?

READ his post again on what AMZN has to say !
180 days hold is for cc chargeback,but for counterfeits,the hold is forever!
Just because you buy it from a manufacturer,it could be a counterfeit vendor,by now AMZN must have a list mile long on manufacturers counterfeiting goods.
So do the customs offices.

no sound like u can get $$$ back for this shop. best wait after q4 holidays and try q1/q2 for new shops. imo

The letter from AMZN sounds like it is very sure these items are counterfeit,how is your lawyer going to prove they are not?
(you have provided the source of where the boards came from,and this source must be a counterfeiter)
May be use the money to sue your supplier!
