Re: Amazon charging prime on locked accounts
Lol, when we were complaining about amazon hating on dropshipping and heavy gc usage, you said that line of thought was retarded. Lately I have been reading your post about issues with buyer account and I hate myself for engaging in that argument with you, because obviously you're far from being experienced with Amazon.
Anyways, to help you out on this you shld understand that the different systems/components on amazon are programmed by different teams and these programs run in synergy while remaining independent components. That's how big softwares are developed, I am a web Dev so I understand this.
In essence, the component that triggered the account lock was never programmed to signal the components/modules that handle amazon prime. So as long as you have an active card on file, prime will continuously be charged regardless of the fact that the account is locked.
Although I've experienced some cases whereby once an account is locked all payment methods on the account are automatically deleted, to avoid any charge by other components/dept. So probably the scenario that resulted in your account being locked didn't trigger this automatic deletion of payment methods.
You have to freeze or disable the card on that locked account with the issuer, else any future/pending charge on the account will take effect. shalom.
