Will Amazon require / request SSN?

Will Amazon require the SSN of the S-Corp owner on Amazon? Or will EIN be only required?

Curious if they ever requested SSN or tried to dig deeper in to the owners of the S-Corp.

Has anyone had issues with Amazon giving an error stating the EIN / Business does not match the IRS database? I filled an S-Corp election for my LLC roughly a month or so ago. Have not heard back from the IRS yet.

Some are saying "Regardless which entity, they are still asking ur ssn at toward the end if acct is in usa. ( point of contact and driver license )".

Is this true?

sole proprietorship is just you,I would think they would want your SSN.
Why not go to AMZN seller forum and ask?

Coming from someone who is still making stealth amazon usa ,Amazon is not forcing SSN for usa ,it is still optional between Ein and SSN.They havent changed that at all.Sole prop can also work with a ein as optional to a ssn.

so it could be Paypal asking for SSN,it keeps insisting sole proprietor ship is just one person,or if multiple owners,who is the major one?

Paypal has always done things different from amazon.I just know for a fact Amazon hasnt changed up how they do the tax interview.Paypal could be another story.

I have an old stealth account that I have been locked out of due to 2FA (have no access to the phone)

Amazon are requesting ID. As it is an old stealth that I bought, i have no access to this. So I need to create a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one.

My question is, does Amazon verify this ID, drivers license or passport?
