Does anyone know what they ask by any chance? I have one scheduled in 5 days and they’re also sending postal verification in addition to that.

Used my fiances info to sign up for the new account. (Diff address) I need to coach her up a bit before hand but I have no idea what they’re going to ask her 😬

The webcam verification rep will ask you to hold up your ID information

Most the reps are working from home so you'll see them sitting in their office/kitchen

They won't ask you any difficult questions, just a few very basic ones, the process takes about 1-2 minutes.

All shops now require postal code for full USA info

There are some workarounds with foreign markets/info but so far best option is to wait and see if postal code goes away closer to the holidays

Created few shops this week in uk none of them asked for postal code request or video verification all went through without suspension and after activation of European marketplace once credit card verified they open all 11 marketplace

Also opened stealth account in EU. Once it got verified US marketplaces opened also. Seems as nice update from their side.

E2Free - will card be charged for US subscription also, or they have unified it with one fee for all marketplaces?

There are ways around it like I mentioned above. You can also create an account from the Canadian platform and get access to the US market

The drawback is your shop won't be fully USA - which has its own benefits

The full USA shops as of Nov require postal code on all registrations

The fees are taken from the initial market you register from

They basically charging £30 in uk and also give access to usa and other marketplaces but the last account I created few days ago messge was coming that in few months they will start charging $39.99 for all marketplaces


Also like to share the eu and usa dont share data since used closed account information to create new account and once fully verified they closed the eu accounts with linkage messge but usa canada jp aus etc all active

Off course you have to provide them all its basic requirement

Update for you guys - full USA shops are still getting 100% postal code verifications

Will attempt again after the first week of January

Why are postal verification an issue?

There are companies that receive mail and upload picture of your mail


Or pay Usps $1 per mail piece to forward. Just put your name and address in their website and new forwarded address

My one friend received video call verification they just asked to show passport book front and back then flipping all pages perspective view. Show passport both pages then asked to move to check hologram image and that it. 5 to 10 min session representative will be in home.

For post card they sent code when you received then login into seller central.
