That wont ever happen.Amazon has a lot of people pushing against the use of that software in the usa.Some cities they out lawed it for police enforcement whom they were selling too.
its too invasive ,they would lose a lot of people.

Screening vs collecting facial recognition data to sell are two sperate levels.

A few years ago we were saying the same thing about collecting ID that you are saying now about facial recognition. Now they're collecting ID.

Only a matter of time. It will probably come within a few years.

Figured I'd do an update as of 9/16/2020

Postal code verification (code sent via mail to registered address) seems to be increasing in frequency

Web cam verification seems to be about the same

But something new came up a couple days ago...

Bank verification before submitting verification, and it seems like they are able to verify details. Only seen it once and had to abandon to, but will update if I see it more frequent

Just read this entire post. if anyone wants to brainstorm ways around this Amazon video verification im ready to come up with some smart ideas, ive been doing stealth since 2007. and beat just about every tech companies new policys, p.s please dont post comments using fear or doubt until you hear my ideas, the reason most of you fail at this game is because you rather bash others ideas or make it soap talk and not put a plan together and take action. im here to find solutions and ACT, not talk about what wont work all day long. i read so many of you saying stealth will be dead after this video verification! hog wash! not true, see you count yourselves out before you even start. :dance::noidea: Cheers

Just got hit with video verification request.....postal cards are resolvable with ups mailing addresses but this video thing.....

It appears all full USA shops now are getting postal code verification

Could be an increase in security going into the holiday season

Foreign info shops do not appear affected - will keep updated

Does anyone know what they ask by any chance? I have one scheduled in 5 days and they’re also sending postal verification in addition to that.

Used my fiances info to sign up for the new account. (Diff address) I need to coach her up a bit before hand but I have no idea what they’re going to ask her 😬

The webcam verification rep will ask you to hold up your ID information

Most the reps are working from home so you'll see them sitting in their office/kitchen

They won't ask you any difficult questions, just a few very basic ones, the process takes about 1-2 minutes.

All shops now require postal code for full USA info

There are some workarounds with foreign markets/info but so far best option is to wait and see if postal code goes away closer to the holidays

Created few shops this week in uk none of them asked for postal code request or video verification all went through without suspension and after activation of European marketplace once credit card verified they open all 11 marketplace

Also opened stealth account in EU. Once it got verified US marketplaces opened also. Seems as nice update from their side.

E2Free - will card be charged for US subscription also, or they have unified it with one fee for all marketplaces?

There are ways around it like I mentioned above. You can also create an account from the Canadian platform and get access to the US market

The drawback is your shop won't be fully USA - which has its own benefits

The full USA shops as of Nov require postal code on all registrations

The fees are taken from the initial market you register from

They basically charging £30 in uk and also give access to usa and other marketplaces but the last account I created few days ago messge was coming that in few months they will start charging $39.99 for all marketplaces


Also like to share the eu and usa dont share data since used closed account information to create new account and once fully verified they closed the eu accounts with linkage messge but usa canada jp aus etc all active

How are you able to create an UK/ EU account. They require a UK Tax ID regardless where your business is from?
