USPS Cubic Pricing

Anyone have any experience? Do these things get audited? if they are undersized by a little? We are talking $17 vs $40 for afew inches.

I cheat on cubic rates and have never been caught. I don't usually fudge the dimensions by more than a few inches though.

I use a lot of the free USPS Priority boxes, and they actually measure smaller than the dimensions written on the box. I use the numbers that I measure.

No problems, thus far.

I've never tried to be off by a few inches, like Phaz0rz, though....

im going to have to fudge by about 3inchs all 3 ways. and one box by about 5 lbs.

otherwise it jumps to pri and its like $60 for one of them. its going east to far west so ups/fedex is like 80 for one damn package. its complete bs.

As long as you don't over exaggerate the box dimensions you should be fine. I ship over 20 cubic packages a day and have been caught with boxes that are way over the cubic limits.

I just shipped a 8 3/4 lb item,USPS priority my box is $18.60 but Fed Ex home delivery is only $13.
I decide to use USPS priority due to nature of the item but many Ebay selllers will go with Fed Exp

I'm not gonna lie... I doubt you even know what USPS Cubic is.
