Re: Amazon media (CD, DVD, Vinyl) selling
No, that isn't it...albeit what you say makes some anecdotal sense with regard to CDs especially. Those sales have dropped off since music is so easily accessible.
But not vinyl, which has had a huge resurgence in the last few years.
Whatever the case, this is way beyond that. This is Amazon either moving away completely from allowing anyone to sell media or disallowing it for a season of time. Can never be sure, but what I am getting at is Amazon policy that seems to be restricting all but a handful of sellers from selling media on their site.
There are so many things up there that NOBODY is selling. Nobody.
My feeling based on how Amazon works and thinks is that high problem items such as DVDs, CDs and vinyl can be bootlegged so easily, and they have been reprimanded into the ground by the music and film industry that they have decided to just shut this off instead of dealing with the headaches it causes.
Anyone know anything tangible?
