Dirty black hat tactics.... Help

Hi all.

I've been selling via 2 Amazon stealth accounts quite happily for nearly 3 years but in the last 8 months i have a competitor that continually purchases my products, returns them for a refund and leaves 1* seller feedback claiming that the products are counterfeit.

I don't sell counterfeit products and i have been successful in all my appeals with Amazon, but this seller has purchased over 80 products from me and it's taking up too much of my time. I sell FBA so i can't prevent him from buying from me and i can't stop Amazon refunding.

I know all of his information including real name, phone number, address, shop name, i even have his FB profile so i know what he looks like!

I've escalated to Amazon many times but they don't seem to take any action.

Has anybody had any experience of dealing with people like this? Does anyone sell services to combat this??

Help!!

You should consider a legal action and use a lawyer to send him a threatening letter to stop doing this

Cheers all. The only solution where I don’t end up in jail is to move to merchant fulfilled and get back some control of who can order from me

As you cannot control who can order from you, that would not help, it would play into their hands. Assuming you plan to cancel their transactions then they can still leave you negative feedback and you'll ruin your metrics even further.

You could take out Craigslist ads for items such as iPhone 11 for say $400 with their information and he would get bombarded with phone calls and texts with no way to remove the ad. Now does that help your Amazon problem??? No but does it get back at him and stay legal? Sure!!

Yes, that's basically it.

It doesn't 'sound good' because if they can show to Amazon it's you who's doing it then your seller account is toast. Lets be honest, they're one step ahead of you already and don't seem like amateur wreckers. If you did make a mess of their account, if Amazon don't get you they will up the ante even further.

Most of those who suggest these counter tactics have no idea what they're talking about and definitely wouldn't do it themselves - don't do it, keep your actions legit.
