Help with Amazon Retardation
 

Amazon wants child product certificate for an age 18+ years old collectible figure that’s licensed. I explained to them it’s clearly 18+ but the monkey on the other end can’t understand. My supplier emailed them and of course they won’t respond either


My supplier doesn’t have the docs cause clearly it’s already compliant , what can I do? Anyway to get through to the amazon monkeys?

only thing you can do is to resubmit and wait some more or use your back up accounts to try selling it

I'm so glad I've never tried to sell on Amazon! That sounds really aggravating.

I escalated the case and it’s still pending. They insist an adult product needs a child certificate. Supplier is small and local it, will hurt us both if Amazon stops sales

Sometimes you have no options with Amazon. You can find an accredited lab... and make your CPC based on something like total lead content.

If the supplier had any of his parts tested, that would also work.

Just FYI: making a CPC is allowed if you are the "importer".

You shouldn't have to, but the monkeys at Amazon don't care, and if you keep reopening tickets for some reason you are the one that gets suspended even though they made the mistake.

Amazon IS aggravating. There WILL be issues that you have to take care of or you're not in control of.

You won't survive unless you have the wits and motivation to do well there.

eBay is a little duckling compared to Amazon... fluffy and cute.
