My friend is willing to sell his old Amazon seller account to me. He doesn’t have the account set up as a business. Can I Change his information to my new business information and not get triggered?

Never mix family/friends and business...

I would say the chances of converting his private seller account to a business in your name are zero.
But if you don't ask you don't get as long as your friend is aware of the possibility of their account being suspended.

You can add a business info so you pay your taxes though.
But if I were you... I wouldn't use it until you truly know how to use amazon.
So save this one account for later.
Use your Amazon Ghost accounts first. Make your mistakes with them.

there isn't always a final answer, rather advice and warnings, then the rest is the person's own decision.

And that means flexibility.
Try to work out what you think is close enough to the final answer. Post your plan. We can help for sure. |

Use your Amazon Ghost accounts first. Make your mistakes with them. | So updating the tax information section to add new business info (EIN) won’t trigger anything? A partner of mine has an account that I’m using to sell my product and I am planning to have them as a partner under my LLC. Once that happens, I can finally have access back to amazon but I’m wondering if updating the tax and business info to my LLC will cause anything

I was registered to Amazon about 8 years ago, I have never used it. Now I decided to go there, but I can't. They ask to confirm the phone number, I have this number, but this number is Russian from Russia and the code does not come to it, although earlier it was possible to register to the Russian number. How to restore an account, where to write to them?

The chances of recovery are very low if you cannot access the messages sent to the registered number. IMO Amazon are dead set on making reactivation of long standing dormant seller accounts almost impossible.

I've had a dormant account for 6 years and they just needed recertification and that's it.

IMO Amazon are dead set on making reactivation of long standing dormant seller accounts almost impossible. | Perhaps you do not quite understand me, when I try to reset the password, a code comes to my email, which means it is still active, then when I enter this code, it asks me to write a phone number that ends in 61, I have access to this number, but my number starts with +7, and the system requires +1, respectively, if I enter +1 ****** 61 then the code does not come, if +7 ......... 61 then an error.
How can I contact the support service besides a phone call, where can I write?
