Yes, just be careful and sell only things you have proper invoices for. And as said if you do volume the above complaints are regulars these days so you pray your invoices be accepted, that's the game.

doesnt using FBA eliminate the issue of product authenticity if the product is sold by many sellers who also sell that same product using FBA? FBA shares inventory sent from many sellers who are sending in that same product to amazon for fba and therefore its not possible to detect which product came from a particular seller. Am I correct with this statement?

FBA should eliminate issue of product authenticity in general - buyer will still receive item from seller he/she ordered from though

Using FBA will not eliminate authenticity issues whatsoever, why on earth would you say that?

They are talking about commingled inventory so a buyer will not necessarily get the item sent in from any given seller.

As an aside, in the event of a buyer making an authenticity claim Amazon claim for commingled stock it can be traced back to the seller who sent it in. Obviously if you don't used commingled then the FNSKU is seller specific.

Did you mark it as new or used? I was under the impression, if you buy from a store to resell you should mark the item as like new or used because you won't have the invoice and that stops the problem.

A lot of time they won't even let you sell items that are not "new" .

Specially refurbished items.

Either way, stay away from brands like Lego, apple, Microsoft etc.

You know what's funny? They actually accepted my invoice. It was 4 days ago. Today they took a listing down saying they need an invoice :clap: what on earth is happening in their seller support department???

I'm not sure I'd call it lucky - being asked for invoice for the same item in 1 weeks timeframe and having listing removed despite confirmation I can keep selling it?

Don't risk it, Amazon is totally irrational. Just forget about this ASIN and move on. The best thing you can do is call or create a ticked to check if the annotation on your account was removed. This is way more important for your account than a single listing.
