Need advice on addresses for invoices
 

Hey guys,

It's been a while since I've been here. So any help is appreciated.

I've had a legitimate Amazon account up and running since 2012 although I'm now in a position where I need to supply 'invoices'.

I know what I need to do although I need some advice.

I recently updated my address on my Amazon account as I moved home. The dates of the invoices they require would have been sent to the old address although when they check the invoices and cross-reference the addresses, will they take into consideration the date the address changed, or will they simply look at the address on file and say addresses do not match?

As the complaint was in the past, the invoices will be in the past, which (should) mean the invoices were sent to the previous address.

I need to get this right to not raise any alarm bells, so any advice is appreciated.

update your address to match the address on the invoice so everything lines up

any discrepancies can lead to rejections so try to make it as easy as possible to be reinstated

The account isn't suspended. I have had several authenticity complaints for which I need to supply invoices.

The date for which the listings were blocked was at my old address, meaning the invoices are addressed to my old address.

Since this time, the address on my Amazon account has changed.

Are they going to simply say the addresses don't match? Or will Amazon understand that the address was changed within this time?

If I put the new address, it would not make sense?

Keep it simple. Change the address. Amazon will not cross reference the address and just reject the invoices if they are made out to the old address.

Just to clarify, it's not that they will definitely reject the invoices made out to an old address but don't give them an excuse to reject your invoices.
