I got the other account hold removed and reinstated the account.

After restoring a few accounts my experience has been to takes several repeat spam attempts of uploading the same document over and over again until that one time they say yes instead of no.

What a bizarre stance from Amazon, this just reinforces the fact that it doesn't matter if you do things correctly, it just matters if you get someone who gives a **** and decides to feel good that day and restore your account, others 90% of these support reps are toxic cancer who don't care to do their job other than reading of a script.

I wonder how they wake up every day and and remember how to live life, anyone who works in customer service has to be either a child or have a very very low IQ.

If anyone has advice on how to initiate a refund/return for an item once your amazon buyer account is closed please let me know, other than submitting a chargeback.

I have a brand new amazon.es account. After a few cheap 20 Eur orders I have tried to order an iPhone and my account got temporarily suspended too (no surprise). At first Amazon have asked to upload card statement what I have done. Then they have asked to upload personal ID for verification. Today I upload it and after a couple of hours I receive an Email they need a card statement again because they can't verify my previous statement. Seems like an endless loop of documents uploading. I'm thinking maybe I need to upload the statement for the last 3 months, not only last months? Maybe someone can give an advice how what steps exactly should I take to restore the account?

Just keep trying, eventually someone's brain might be working and the will reinstate your account, 99% of amazon support people do not have a working brain, unfortunately.

Statements are go through human review or just reviewed by bots, do you know that?

Screw Amazon - in a nice sort of way. Any "marketplace" that requires sellers to carry insurance and gives them constant hassles is garbage. Tried years ago to sell and gave up, waste of time. Sellers do all the work, Amazon pockets the profits as usual. I would suggest giving them the boot and find an alternative platform.

What platforms do you suggest that are remotely comparable?

If you take your selling seriously it is the best platform by a country mile.

As for them 'taking all the profits' then that simply isn't true, my fees on Amazon are less than they are on ebay.


Anyway....back on to the subject, this thread is about buyer accounts not seller. :)

So any tips if I keep getting emails that they cannot verify the credit card statement (which is legit and has the infor they would need) . Should I just keep spamming them with reuploading the same document?

This is for a buyer account; I have another 3 accts. Or is this a lost cause and they are denying this beacause of that? Card is not used with any other accounts.

Yes keep trying, I have done this several times on different accounts, all eventually get reinstated after re-upping same doc, or emailing support.
