Delayed Disbursement 2x’s Help!!!!

I used a friends credit card for years on my Amazon account but he forgot and saw charges that he thought was fraud so he canceled his card. That is when the the first disbursement was canceled. I came on this forum and purchased another VCC and waited another two weeks for the next disbursement which also was declined. I immediately added my friends new credit card and now it’s saying I will need to wait another two weeks for the disbursement. If I don’t receive the disbursement sooner I am going to have some serious problems. Is there anything that can be done?

Agree with Hank & RSOT,

Can't say I've seen it go any faster but have you tried reaching out to seller support to explain the situation?

Longshot but you never know.

I thought about it but don’t want to draw any more attention to my account. I’ve had two cards decline already so I’m thinking to just sit and wait at this point.

Update: I’m told that they charged $40 on the VCC and then attempted to charge it again (not sure what amount) which is why it failed. Any idea how much of a balance I should maintain on my friends credit card to make sure this doesn’t happen again?

That will likely be for the monthly pro seller fees that they were unable to take from pending disbursements due to their standard hold.

Downgrade to an Individual account is one solution for now, but the outstanding fees will have to be paid one way or another before anything is released to you.

If you don't make enough sales to cover their fees going forward it will happen again.

So are you using a VCC or a friend's card?

It sounds like you owe them previous month's seller fee + current seller fee so they bill twice ?

Do you not make enough from your sales to cover the $40 ?

I’m using my friends card because I have more control over the balance of it.

I make plenty to cover the monthly fees. I’m not exactly sure why they decided to charge any fees to the card and not take it from sales.

It’s an old account, many years old. I’ll be sure to make sure my friends card has way more on it than 2 months of fees to avoid this on the future.

Any idea if my account will be under scrutiny due to this happening 2x with two different cards? The last thing I need is Amazon asking me for verification documents.

I see, I interpreted 'the first disbursement' in your opening post to mean just that and missed the first bit.

Always assume the answer is 'yes' with Amazon.

But what's done is done, only time will tell now.
