What happens if you have a negative balance?

My(US)account was suspended for a few months. With luck I was able to get it back, however it has a negative balance. Not an issue but I am currently in bankruptcy and I cant be selling any "assets" as they are not mine yet.

Is Amazon going to suspend my account if they dont get payment? It says they are going to charge me $2500 on Sept 14th. I cant have them pinging my checking account so Im going to have them ping an empty checking/debit account. My concern is that this could lead to a permanent suspension/lost of account if they dont get paid? just wondering if anyone has seen this? I cant start selling again for about 90 days if everything goes okay.

I can't imagine they would take to kindly to not receiving funds that they are owed...

Doubt they'd want to continue business with a person/company that may not be able to pay funds in the future based off failed payments in the past.

Of course they are going to nail your account to the wall. Even if you only owe them $1 they'd do it.

Not to mention your bank ACC will get flagged by your bank too if they keep trying to withdraw from you and you gotta explain to your bank what's up.

Sept 14th is approaching fast, you really need to decide what's best for you and what to do next.

do you have the money now,if you use a bank account with no fund,wont the bank charge you $ NSF ?
or find a friend who would lend you the money fast

Banks will for sure charge an NSF fee, not sure about the states but its $40-$50 in Canada.

Do you plan on selling with this Amazon account in the future? If not then call your bank and tell them to block Amazon ach direct debits. Then Amazon is going to get suspended and sent over to debt collectors.

Not sure if Amazon is like eBay where they let you pay outstanding sellers fees and your account gets reinstated

I have a negative balance on my main account for about 6 months now that I no longer use and the account is still standing.. I have had this account for years though and done 90k in sales so maybe it's just a really strong account that doesn't attract attention

How much is the negative balance? Account is still standing but I wager that if you tried to use the account, you'd have issues...

when Ebay was still using Paypal,it would try 3 times before it gives up,which could end up costing you 3 X NSF.

Only £100, I'm still being charged monthly fees but as I'm not bringing in any sales it is adding up every month. I'll try and sell stuff on it to get it back into positive but don't see why they would wait to ban me

You will not be allowed to sell again until all outstanding fees have been paid.

You will probably be hit with verification issues as you clearly have no bank account direct debit or active charge method attached.

Why have you not downgraded to an individual account?
