Obviously your id, and statements creation needs to be 100% excellent .

Finally, if u receive utility request, the account is gone.. but I did manage to get 2 reopened a couple years back, but I included a covert letter.. about you, what your selling, you have experience, website , shipping on time etc..

When I create an Amazon UK account as soon a is verify the number there is a 4 step registration process, the last step is uploading documents.

Is that normal? do you give ID for every account you make?

Yes it is normal and yes they do if they plan on selling at a level remotely worthwhile. I'm not saying they haven't created an Amazon UK account recently without providing ID but, like you, I have had to provide it at registration or within a matter of days on my last three accounts using good quality legitimate details. Nothing to spook them whatsoever.

Indeed, after a few grand of sales (on your personal seller account) expect to be asked to convert it to a business and supply your verifiable UTR or details of your Limited Company etc.
