That depends.
Read this message AMZ sent me.
"The number that you entered in Seller Central when you registered your account does not match the unique ID number in the identity document. Update the number in Seller Central to match the unique ID number in the identity document."

See ? AMZ wanted me to update the number in seller central, instead of resubmiting documents.
If you see this in AMZ's message, it means AMZ already unlocked the page for you to update Tax info (unique number - SSN, address, ful name)

But there are various messages from AMZ according to sellers forum discussion, some of them are simply rejecting your request.
Something like "You are not authorized to change the contact info" or asking you to resubmit documents.
And these mean bad .....

So your original account was suspended years ago and you still sent in your original information and it passed?

Interesting. I might have to try this approach too.

Like I said before my account was suspended 12 years ago. My stealth account just has a S Corp EIN and company name as the first and last name.

So on my account the point of contact is the name of the company and the EIN. But when you fill out point of contact in the reverification process, it asks for a human name. I don't actually have a real point of contact on my account. So I imagine I'll get rejected at first and probably have to prove a new point of contact is the owner.

Yes, I am working with my AMZ accounts all morning, I don't see the limited access message any more.. all cleared, orders flow in and I fulfilled them.

I have another 2 accounts to go and I am waiting for the re-verification to come patiently and watch my steps

People are getting re-verification requests on shops 5+ years old, some only 6 months old.

Pretty much any shop that has not been video verified can get the request. If you want to avoid the request, you want to get a shop that is fully USA based, and has been video + postal code verified

Reason I say fully USA based is because shops that aren't fully USA that have already been video verified, are still seeing additional requests for verification. That's just the risk of using a USA pro shop for USA selling that has foreign country info registered. Those shops just have a higher risk profile and usually have more verification requests down the road

The re verification stuff? It's usually temporary.

ask the seller in the marketplace about it.

You can still disburse funds... you have 60 days to do the verification basically

You can do everything still during the 60 day period. List, ship, payout, change information.

I'm currently a week into my asking to reverify while I figure out whose name to use as point of contact on my business account.

It appears some people are using their personal name even with a suspended past account and getting away with it. A strategy I'm considering. Although I'm guessing it's if you're suspended account from years ago never had your SSN or driver's license associated with it. And if you've moved since, it's basically just your name that is connected to the old account. And a lot of people can have the same name.

remember ... only because 1 person is ok or to be accurate SEEMS ok, doesn't mean everyone is gonna be ok doing this.

That's why I said wait 2+ weeks and monitor the account.

Also see how everyone else is doing by doing the same thing
