Default Has anyone seen this issue on amazon

Posting for a friend as he asked me for help and I found this situation odd and have no way to help him.

My friend was kicked off brand registry 2 days ago for filing an invalid trademark complaint.

Then his new account and any account who lists against his private label brand is instantly suspended?????????? He purchased a new account listed one of his private labels and once listing went active within 30 minutes account went down.

Are all his private label listings death now? He has 200+ listings there he has previously on one account. Is this something brand new amazon is doing to stop people coming back on new accounts to their private label products?

This post just doesn't make sense.

Brand Registry is not the same as 'white label' ASINs.

Why are multiple accounts listing against the same ASIN, new ones too?

Sounds like a easily linked mess, it's give me a headache trying to understand it for sure.

develop new account on other asin's , once the account is established it is less likely to be suspended so easily

be aware though that amazon do inventory fingerprints of suspended sellers so that any new seller whose fingerprint has a match above a certain % would be suspended regardless of any other matching details

So he needs to sell other products for a few months then come back to his listings?

he needs to collect selling history and slowly add other items from suspended inventory

Yes, and drip feed the other ASIN's in slowly.....very slowly.

Even then, as MBE said, you'll never know what will trigger the fingerprint link.

I stay away from this practice altogether.
Suspended account/new account.....
Began listing inventory with *NEW* upc's
Couple of months went by, and all was well.
Listed one, just one, from suspended account under original Asin that was still active. Boom! Lights out on new account. Never again.

So if I listed one of his listings on my 5 year old account it should be ok? I don’t wana risk it just curious. Is anyone willing to list one of his products on their account to see if it survives lol

Posting for a friend thing never works.

Get him in here and have him ask us questions himself so we can get the details directly from the source.

Neither. It was generic, as I produce my own product.

Amazon is marking ASINS that have had a history of suspended sellers. Any new account that sells these will automatically get suspended.

Amazon is very good at linking past suspended shops that created listing pages

If you create new list pages, you're less likely to get linked to past shops

If you produce your own product, can you get a trademark from USPTO and register to amazon that you are a holder?
