Is it safe to list under a private label brand for a generic product if the brand isn't officially listed with amazon's brand registery?

Is it possible to get an unauthentic claim for a generic product?

What do you mean a 'deeper dive'?

The answer is really simple and always has been when this question is raised.

If you list against a private label ASIN, then you are at risk of being reported for selling counterfeits. It matters not if it is part of the Brand Registry program. It has always been like that.
